This purple Floral Mystery cotton tea towel is also part of my The Bees’ Garden collection. The design on this tea towel shows a mystical floral print of hand painted purple and white flowers, tall growing ferns and grass. The background colour is a watercolour effect flowing from bright violet to a deep fir green. Each Floral Mystery tea towel is made from a durable and machine washable cotton fabric which makes it gorgeous and practical at the same time.

The dramatic print design of the Floral Mystery cotton tea towel really stands out with its bright white and purple flowers against the moody watercolour background. You can discover a large white Cosmos in the centre, surrounded by purple cornflowers, lilac lavender and white daisies. Each flower has been hand painted by myself and the brush strokes are clearly visible in the print. This purple floral tea towel is the perfect Christmas gift for anyone who loves the colour purple.

This mysterious floral tea towel is printed onto a strong, durable cotton fabric. When you dry your dishes with this cotton tea towel, the loose enough weave of the cotton will allow the fabric to absorb water. Many cheaper cotton tea towels are made from a very tight and stiff cotton fabric which means they do not do a great job at drying your dishes; but not with this one! When touching and holding the Floral Mystery tea towel, you will notice the softness and flexibility of the fabric. This means it will air dry quickly when it gets damp. Let’s have a closer look at this tea towel: you will see that the edges have been folded over twice and are then neatly hemmed to prevent the fabric from fraying. On the back of the tea towel you will find a practical hanging loop and my AMPellegrini Art & Design label sewn into the hem. Does your mum like flowers and purple? Creating stunning, yet practical gifts is the goal with my British made tea towel range. I work together with a textiles manufacturer based in England that is able to produce the tea towels to my specifications. Over the past few years we have developed a strong business relationship and we both want to support the UK economy.

Each Floral Mystery tea towel is neatly folded and wrapped with a paper bellyband in my East London studio. You can find the washing and care information on the back of the bellyband, so do not throw it away straight away. Every tea towel is wrapped in tissue paper before it goes either into an envelop or small parcel, depending if there are several products in your order. After you have entered your delivery address at checkout, you will see the delivery fee.

My textile manufacturer and myself recommend the following to make sure your tea towel lasts you for a long time:
wash your tea towel at 40 degrees
let it air dry; no tumble dry
(steam) iron your tea towel at a low to medium heat from the back side
do not use bleach
do not excessively wring the tea towel
Please note: if you decide to wash your tea towel at a higher temperature as well as iron and tumble dry it at high heat, the material and print will wear off faster.
