The bold print design of this cheerful tea towel shows a beautiful flower meadow including pink and white Zinnias, red and white Cosmos, some clover and corn flowers. All flowers have been hand painted by myself and you can really see the paint strokes in the print. The blue background and colourful flowers make this a joyful Christmas gift for your mum in 2024.

  • This floral tea towel is made from a durable, strong cotton fabric. Unlike many cheaper cotton tea towels that have a very tight fabric, the weave of this cotton tea towel is loose enough to allow the fabric to absorb water when you dry your dishes. When you touch and drape Flower Meadow, you can feel the fabric is quite soft and flexible and not at all stiff. This means your Flower Meadow tea towel will air dry quickly when it gets damp. When you have a closer look at the finishing of the tea towel, you will notice that the edges have been neatly hemmed with the fabric folded over twice to prevent any fraying. On the back side, you can find a useful hanging loop and my AMPellegrini Art & Design label sewn into the corners.

The floral inspired tea towel would make a great gift for your mum this Christmas. A bunch of flowers that will last her for years. It is definitely my best selling tea towel with its blue base and playful floral pattern, so a safe choice when looking for a gift for a flower and garden lover. All of the original artworks for Flower Meadow have been hand painted by myself, Anna-Maria Pellegrini. I am based in East London in the UK, where I have a studio and create all my botanical illustrations. Coming from a textile design engineering background, material and print quality are the main criteria when developing new products. By creating joyful, gorgeous print designs on high quality fabrics, I can offer British made tea towels that will last you a long time. The textiles manufacturer I work with is based in England and can produce the tea towels to my specifications. Over the years we have developed a sustainable business relationship and both are keen to support the UK economy.

  • Every Flower Meadow tea towel is neatly folded and finished with a paper bellyband in my London studio. The bellyband contains washing and care information, so do not throw it away before having a look at those first. Please bear in mind that there is a delivery fee applied when checking out, once you have entered your delivery address.

Generally the delivery fees for a Flower Meadow tea towel are the following:

    • delivery to the EU: from £4.90

    • delivery to USA, AUS, NZ etc.: from £10.90

Please note: there might be various shipping options available for your country which may affect the shipping cost. All of my orders are dispatched from London in the UK. • My textile manufacturer and myself recommend the following to make sure your tea towel lasts you for a long time:

    • wash your tea towel at 40 degrees

    • let it air dry or tumble dry on the delicates setting to prevent shrinking

    • (steam) iron your tea towel at a low to medium heat from the back side

    • do not use bleach

    • do not excessively wring the tea towel

Please note: if you decide to wash your tea towel at a higher temperature as well as iron and tumble dry it at high heat, the material and print will wear off faster.
